Discover the rich history of Tagish Lake which dates back to the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. Tens of thousands of stampeders crossed the infamous Chilkoot Trail and cruised on Tagish Lake with self-built rafts and scows before they ventured on an uncertain journey down the Yukon River to the gold fields near Dawson City.

Your hosts, Jacqueline & Beat Korner, welcome you for a pleasant stay at their wilderness jewel - Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge, a log resort they built, along with four cozy log cabins surrounded by pristine nature.
Arriving here in 1994, they are both vivid outdoor enthusiasts and love to share their unique way of life with guests from all around the world.
Together with twenty happy, friendly purebred Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Huskies they operate the lodge in the summer and winter, introducing you to the beauty and wondersof Canada's True North.
